Threat Considerations for the Eastern Shore and Faith-Based Communities


January 27, 2017

This one-day seminar is designed to provide retail, K-12 & IHE schools, commercial facilities, and faith-based organizations a look at the the totality of mass casualty events, commonly referred to as "active shooters."  

The day will examine indicators prior to the event, the realities of the actual event, and the expectation during post-event situations.  

Presentations offered by Maryland State Police, FBI's​ Behavioral Analysis Unit program, Office of Public Affairs, Office of Victim Assistance, and the Department of Homeland Security.

This seminar is particularly designed for leadership, facilitator, administrator, and supervisory roles of schools, churches, businesses, and first responder roles while also open to interested personnel.
